SEXTON WEB UPDATE: A MESSAGE FROM THE MING (8 Feb 2010)

Hi Kids. I know what the kids like.

It's a new decade. A new beginning. A new chance for peace, love and Hells Angels making daisy chains with little children.

And its time for me to up date my web site. Clear out the cobwebs and put fresh Dafoldils in the challus of Christ.

THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO:

A biggie for Dave Cloud fans. Me and Dave are working on a split album. On one side Cloud sings Ming. On the other Ming sings Cloud (backed by the London Dirthole Company). Coming out on the Radiowave label, vinyl. Hopefully by summer.

I have become one of Dirthole's guest vocalists. So if you see ‘em performing I might be there.

Myself and Britons best-loved eccentric poet, singer/song writer of Devon Colin Shaddick (he of SAW mag fame) have teamed up to produce our own chap books on “Open Fly Press”. The first book will be a split collection of mine and Colin's poems.

To promote the book I'm hoping to organise a reading in London and Devon. Some time April-ish.

Coming soon to the Writings' page of the web site new short stories. Horror. Anecdotes And homo erotica for straight guys. Plus medical journals. I have discovered some great new diseases; therefore I will develop some great new charities for my beer and fags.

On the Art page discover and join my new art movement "The Uncough C**s." (C**ism). Lots of manifestos. Lots of Hate. Crap work.

Plus join Victoria Non-Fat's Army. More info on its way.

Finally. Lay off of the drink and drugs. And try and make it to the year 2032.

Daevid Allen of the progressive rock group "Gong" predicts that 2032 will be the year that Astrologers will discover the planet Gong. When that happens the Pot Head Pixies will come down to Earth and take us all back to Gong with a dust bin liner of weed each to smoke.

Watch all spaces.

Love Sexton.

Sexton & Ella in Charity Auction: "Hi, I'm Robin, and this November I will be running the ING New York City Marathon in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity (registered charity 1005541). By running the event (and several more in 2009) I am hoping to raise a HUGE amount of money for this amazing charity. A lot of my fundraising is achieved through the auction of signed memorabilia donated to my cause by celebrities and public figures around the world so it isn't unusual to see signed items ranging from the cast of Eastenders to Us Presidential hopefuls (and everything in between) on my auction lists.
"This week will see a whole new run of auctions, including two pieces of artwork created by Sexton Ming and Ella Guru for my fundraising. 'Conquest Mouse' (Sexton) and 'Punch Up Swans' (Ella) will both be available on auction in the next couple of days. Do pop by my official fundraising website http://robincharityfundraising.bravejournal.com to get some more information on my fundraising (past, present and future), and to see what other amazing items are available for sale.
" I would like to take this chance to thank both Ella and Sexton for taking the time to help my fundraising out and for tolerating my endless stream of emails. I look forward to seeing you over on my site! Cheers, Robin"

Conny Loesch, publisher of Sexton's stories in jungeWelt, had such a successful reading in Berlin we thought we'd print the story here:

"Jorg... went completely over the top. I wasn't bad either, like really acting all the dialogues and screaming and shouting at the right places. But Jorg was incredible, he was rapping and singing all the songs e.g. in Andy Warthog. He particularly loved Andy Warthog and had fits of laughter. It was so bad, he had to stop reading, I thought he'd choke.. His colleague in the office said, when he read it the first time, he thought he'd had to call a doctor. And I thought they were exaggerating. But then it happened again on stage. I found that so funny, that I was crying. So it was me crying and Jorg choking, panting, screaming on stage. Huge success. Half of the audience left, the other half loved it... Jorg is a real fan now, he's determined to do it again. Hamburg will be next..."
